Welcome to the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum

The Cole Harbour Heritage Farm is a community museum dedicated to preserving and interpreting Cole Harbour's agricultural past, and developing understanding of plants, animals and farming today. It is owned and operated by the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society, a registered charity, whose mission is to actively involve the public in awareness and protection of our natural and cultural resources and foster appreciation and respect for community - past, present, and future. The Farm relies heavily on community support, volunteers and donations. Admission is by donation so plan to come often and reconnect with your rural roots!

Our general visitation season has ended for the year (reopening spring 2024) but we're still here! Keep an eye out for events throughout the off-season, and remember, you are always welcome to make an appointment to access our collection resources, including our archives, library, and artifact collection. We also have our Online Shop, with a new menu open for orders every Monday to Thursday, and pick up for all orders every Friday. Join our newsletter at the "Get Involved" link above!

Take a virtual tour of the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum! This video was filmed & produced by Adam Arkens Films, and made possible by Tourism NS’s Digital NS Program.
